I serve as the Community Engagement Manager for Europe at the Internet Society. I work closely with chapters and volunteers across the region to strengthen community networks and advance our shared mission of an open, secure, and globally connected Internet.
With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of open source, digital rights, and civic technology, I bring deep expertise in building inclusive communities and bridging the gap between technology and people. I co-founded the Mozilla Reps program, supporting grassroots leadership in over 80 countries, and helped scale Common Voice into one of the world’s largest open datasets for multilingual voice technology. At the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, I led the modernization of community infrastructure and helped launch the Open Mapping Hub for Latin America, empowering local communities to use open data for disaster response and development.
I am passionate about the power of the Internet as a tool for equity, collaboration, and social change, and I’ve spent my career helping communities around the world use technology to drive positive impact.
